The representatives of ministries, trade unions, employers and social security funds participated in the meeting held by the leader of the Subcommittee on the state social insurance, development of social dialogue and activity of citizens’ associations Liudmyla Denisova.
The bill (Reg. No. 1129), submitted by the people’s deputies Yu.Miroshnychenko and V.Sushkevych, suggests amending 23 legislative acts that regulate the issues pertaining to the activity of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
Following the results of discussion, the working group concluded that the bill requires significant refinement, as most of the participants of the meeting did not support its contents and changes provided in the system of compulsory state social insurance.
The Committee Chairman Petro Tsybenko stressed the importance of this issue for the social policy of Ukraine. Thus, the bill will be primarily considered during the meeting of the Committee on February 6 this year.
